Labourer / Trainee GRP Fabricator

A well-established GRP (glass reinforced plastic) manufacturer in Atherton is looking for a reliable, hardworking labourer to join their team and train up in the trade. This is a genuine long-term opportunity for the right person — they're not after a quick pair of hands, they want someone to invest in, develop, and keep on permanently.

The company has been manufacturing canopies, roofing, dormers and bespoke GRP products since 1995, working closely with local authorities and the private sector across the North West. You'd start by supporting the experienced fabricators and learning the trade hands-on, with full training given on the moulding, fabrication and fitting process.

What we're looking for:

* A strong work ethic and, above all, reliability — someone who turns up on time, every day, ready to graft

* A keen, switched-on attitude and a genuine willingness to learn a skilled trade

* Good with their hands and happy working in a manufacturing/workshop environment

* A team player who takes pride in their work

* Your own transport — this is essential, as the site isn't easily reached by public transport

Preferred but not essential:

* A valid CSCS card

* A full UK driving licence
