We’re recruiting for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a well-established international business supplying essential products into highly regulated global industries. With a strong reputation, an extensive product portfolio and significant untapped market potential, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating opportunities rather than simply managing them.

This is a genuine new business role. You’ll have the autonomy to develop your own pipeline, reconnect with existing industry contacts and identify opportunities within an underdeveloped customer base. Whether you’re leveraging your own network or opening conversations with new organisations, you’ll play a key role in driving the company’s next phase of commercial growth.

We’re looking for someone with a hunter mentality - someone who is motivated by identifying opportunities, getting in front of customers and turning conversations into long-term commercial partnerships.

This role can be based remotely, although you’ll become part of a collaborative and ambitious commercial team that values initiative, entrepreneurial thinking and a proactive approach.

Key responsibilities:

* Identify and secure new business opportunities across target markets

* Develop relationships with prospective customers and key decision-makers

* Re-engage dormant opportunities and unlock growth within an existing customer base

* Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact through to close

* Represent the business confidently at customer meetings and industry events

* Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored commercial solutions

* Contribute to the continued growth of an established international business

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager will have the following background:

* Proven success in a Business Development or New Business Sales role

* A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business

* Experience selling into offshore, oil & gas, maritime, marine or closely related industrial sectors

* Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

* Commercially driven, proactive and highly self-motivated

* An entrepreneurial approach with the ability to spot and develop opportunities

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Existing industry relationships/contacts would be highly advantageous
