Electronic Designer - Berkshire - up to £50,000 + Benefits - REF 2031
I am currently recruiting a Electronic Designer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Berkshire. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits.
The organisation is very well regarded for their engineering excellence and having been established for over 70 years they have a fantastic heritage. They work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology, being able to deliver innovative solutions to industry problems and challenges many of their competitors are unable to solve. As a result, they have some of the most highly capable engineers within their business.
To support the growth of the business and in line with current workload they have the need to appoint an Electronic Designer on a permanent basis.
In this role as an Electronic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products, taking them through from concept to manufacture. You will be working primarily on digital and analogue electronics for various projects, with the majority being IOT focused. You will be working in a team of other Electronics Design Engineers, but liaising with a multi-disciplined department.
Essential Requirements:
At least 4 years' experience as an Electronic Designer or similar
Digital
Analogue
PCB Design and Schematic capture (ideally Altium)Desirable Requirements:
Experience with IOT devices
Security Cleared (SC clearance)
EMC/EMI
Experience with Ethernet, UART, I2C, SPI, LINbus or CANbus
Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC
Experience with integrating commercial off the shelf electronics into bespoke electronic products and systems
Experience with Wi-Fi or BLE
CE certification
FCC certification
Experience with IPC2221B or similar PCB design standards
Experience with RED testing (Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU)This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electronic Designer to work for a very interesting company that have great staff retention.
