Senior Project Manager - BESS

ersg are working with a major investor/developer of Utility-Scale BESS projects across the UK to recruit a Senior Project Manager.

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Core responsibilities include;

Develop and maintain project execution plans.
Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
Lead regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams.
Manage contract deliverables and change orders.
Review contractor payment applications.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
Monitor contractor HSE performance.Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Also, demonstrable experience of delivering Utility-Scale BESS projects.
