Electrical Technician | Day Shift | Monday - Friday

Up to just under £45k plus overtime

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting their longstanding client with the appointment of an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

You will be working as part of a problem-solving engineering team who are repsonsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and repair of cranes & mobile plant assets.

You will be required to respond to breakdowns and failures using problem solving techniques to return equipment back into service within tight timescales.

Skills Required

* Electromechanical devices such as solenoids, thrusters and actuators.

* Electric motors and drivetrains, both AC and DC up to 400kW.

* Power electronics converters such as inverters and rectifiers.

* Motor control methods soft start, direct online, variable speed drives, resistance banks and thyristors.

* Switching devices including relays, contactors, circuit breakers and proximity switches.

* 5+ years experience working within heavy industries

* HNC or time served route

* Previous maintnenace experience is essential
