An established organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead technical projects and support core IT infrastructure across a growing business. This role combines project delivery, hands-on engineering, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects, from design through to implementation
* Maintain and optimise cloud and on-premise systems
* Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
* Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers
* Support security and compliance initiatives
* Produce clear technical documentation
* Mentor junior team members and promote best practice
* Identify and implement continuous improvements
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Experience with VMware, Azure, and Microsoft environments (M365, Windows Server, Azure AD)
* Solid networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
* Intune or endpoint management tools
* Security tooling experience
* Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, VMware)
