We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to join a major enterprise transformation programme for a leading client based in Germany

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
As the Lead System Architect, you will be responsible for the overall technical design, architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale Pega solutions. You will lead technical teams, provide architectural governance, and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of scalable, secure and high-performing applications.

  • Lead the technical architecture, design and implementation of Pega applications.
  • Define solution architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams, Senior System Architects and System Architects.
  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews and architecture governance activities.
  • Design complex integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, messaging and APIs.
  • Lead technical workshops with German-speaking business and technology stakeholders.
  • Support estimation, planning and technical risk management activities.
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Business Architects, Product Owners and Programme Managers throughout the delivery life cycle.
  • Drive adoption of modern Pega capabilities including Constellation and GenAI features.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification.
  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Pega solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Case Management, Business Rules, Integrations and Workflow Automation.
  • Deep understanding of Pega architecture, guardrails and best practices.
  • Experience with Pega Constellation architecture and modern UX frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies including REST APIs, SOAP and eventdriven architectures.
  • Experience leading Agile delivery teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent German (spoken and written) - mandatory.
  • Professional English (spoken and written) - mandatory.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

  • Experience within telecommunications, banking, insurance, public sector or other large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI, Generative AI and intelligent automation technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-native deployments, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) - essential.
  • Additional Pega certifications desirable.
