We are partnering with a highly respected manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for a key site leadership position. This is a confidential opportunity offering significant influence over operational strategy, performance, and long-term site development.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of site leadership, responsible for driving operational excellence across manufacturing, service, and warehouse functions. You will lead the delivery of strategic objectives, ensuring strong performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while embedding a high-performance, continuous improvement culture.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the site through leadership of people, processes, and capital investment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the site manufacturing and continuous improvement strategy
* Drive performance against key operational and financial KPIs
* Develop and coach a cross-functional leadership team
* Champion best practice methodologies including Lean and Six Sigma
* Partner with senior stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives
* Lead capital projects from concept through to implementation
* Use data and insight to identify and deliver sustainable improvements
* Embed a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence
About You
We are looking for a strong, visible leader with:
* Significant experience in a manufacturing / operations leadership role
* Proven ability to deliver operational improvements and cultural change
* Strong people leadership and coaching capability
* Expertise in Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
* Commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Analytical mindset with a structured, results-driven approach
A degree in engineering, management, or a related field is preferred. Advanced qualifications (e.g. Six Sigma, Master’s) would be advantageous
