We are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Sub-Agent for their growing team in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional to join a busy and expanding business delivering a range of infrastructure and civils projects across the North East of Scotland. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. If you are looking to progress your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, we would be keen to hear from you.
As the Sub-Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Supporting the Site Agent with the day-to-day management of civils projects
* Coordinating site activities to ensure work is completed safely and on programme
* Managing subcontractors, labour, and plant on site
* Ensuring quality standards and health & safety procedures are maintained at all times
* Assisting with site documentation, reporting, and project planning
* Liaising with clients, engineers, and the wider project team
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Previous experience working within a civil engineering environment
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* The ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive and collaborative approach with a strong attention to detail
