Location: Leeds
Salary: £18.95 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Site Administrator to join a busy site in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to provide administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting site operations, and liaising with both internal teams and external visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing general administrative support to the site management team.
* Answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally.
* Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and site documentation.
* Processing purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes where required.
* Updating spreadsheets and internal databases.
* Coordinating site meetings and taking minutes when necessary.
* Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
* Welcoming visitors and contractors, ensuring site sign-in procedures are followed.
* Assisting with health and safety documentation and compliance records.
* Supporting payroll, timesheet, or attendance administration where applicable.
* Carrying out any other administrative duties to support the wider team.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, engineering, or a busy site environment.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Professional and approachable manner.
Desirable
* Experience using ERP or site management systems.
* Knowledge of health and safety documentation.
* Experience processing purchase orders or invoices.
