Key Stage 2 Teacher | Bath
A Key Stage 2 Teacher is required for a full-time role at a primary school in Bath, starting in September and continuing through to February. The position is likely to be based in a Year 4 class.
This is a well-established class with good behaviour, clear routines and strong expectations already in place, supported by a TA. The role includes full planning responsibilities and is paid to scale.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging KS2 lessons
* Teach across core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and deliver the wider curriculum (History, Geography, Art, DT, Computing, PE, Music, RE, MFL as appropriate)
* Set high expectations for progress in literacy, numeracy, writing, reading comprehension, and maths
* Use a range of resources and teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs and different ability levels
* Mark work and provide constructive feedback to support student progress
* Manage pupil behaviour in line with each school's behaviour policy
* Contribute positively to the KS2/Primary department and wider school community
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge across English, Mathematics and Science, plus familiarity with the Primary National Curriculum
* Confident practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
* Experience delivering a broad primary curriculum
* Experience supporting students with SEND in a primary context
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
