Structural Engineer

EMT Talent is working with an established engineering company in Sheffield to appoint a Structural Engineer to join their growing team.
We are looking to speak with Structural Engineers who have experience in structural design and delivery across building structures projects.

The Role:
You will be involved in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion, working within a collaborative team environment and supporting senior engineers while helping develop junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design of steel, reinforced concrete, portal frame and traditional structures
* Structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software
* Production and checking of engineering drawings and details
* Preparation of technical reports and design documentation
* Project delivery from concept through to completion
* Supporting junior engineers
* Coordination with other disciplines
* Client and design team meetings
* Ensuring practical, efficient and buildable designs
About You:
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng)
* Experience in a structural engineering consultancy
* Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
* Experience with structural design software
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Chartership progression or ambition to achieve it
