Civil Infrastructure Engineer - Edinburgh
An established engineering consultancy in Edinburgh is looking to recruit a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial developments, delivering infrastructure and drainage solutions from concept through to construction.
The Role
Design and deliver surface water, foul water and highway drainage solutions for residential and commercial developments.
Prepare drainage strategies, calculations and technical reports.
Produce and review detailed infrastructure drawings using industry-standard software.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
Support planning applications and technical approvals, including S104, S106 and S38 processes where applicable.
Manage projects and contribute to the successful delivery of schemes within programme and budget.About You
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in infrastructure design within a consultancy environment.
Proficient in drainage design software such as MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage and Civil 3D (or similar).
Good understanding of current UK design standards and drainage legislation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Working towards or already chartered status would be advantageous, but is not essential.What's on Offer
