Logistics Administrator – Maternity Cover (Potential to Go Permanent)

💷 £13.50 per hour
🕐 Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join a busy operation in Dagenham Dock. This is a maternity cover role with strong potential to become permanent.
⚠️ Please note: This role requires proven experience in logistics, specifically dealing with clients and coordinating deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating delivery schedules
Speaking directly with clients to organise and resolve delivery requirements
Liaising with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Handling delivery queries and resolving issues efficiently
Updating systems and completing logistics administration tasksWhat we’re looking for:
✅ Essential: Logistics experience dealing with customers/clients and arranging deliveries
Confident communicator, comfortable handling client calls and queries
Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload
Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or transport environment
Good IT and administrative skillsWhat’s on offer:
£13.50 per hour
Monday to Friday – no weekends
