We are working with a well-respected and growing construction contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Engineer for their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work, offering exposure to a variety of exciting projects and genuine opportunities for long-term career development.
As the Site Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications
* Managing quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate site records
* Coordinating with site management teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
* Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements
* Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and as-built documentation where required
* Assisting with progress reporting, programme updates, and resolving technical issues on-site
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the construction or civil engineering sector
* Strong setting out skills and proficiency with modern surveying equipment
* A good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality procedures
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
