Mechanical Project Manager

North West Office | Projects Across the UK (Initial Project - Glasgow)

Permanent | £55,000 - £65,000 + Company Car + Excellent Benefits

An established and growing Building Services contractor is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business delivering mechanical services projects across the UK, with genuine long-term career prospects and the chance to take ownership of multiple projects.

The role will be based from the company's North West office, although your first project will be in Glasgow, where you'll be expected to spend approximately three days per week on site. Accommodation, hotel costs and meal allowances will be fully covered whilst working away.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing mechanical services projects from start through to handover.

* Coordinating labour, subcontractors and suppliers.

* Monitoring project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.

* Attending client and site meetings.

* Ensuring health and safety compliance across all projects.

* Managing procurement and material deliveries.

* Overseeing quality, commissioning and final handover.

* Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and site teams.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

* Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within Building Services or M&E contracting.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical installations.

* Experience delivering commercial, industrial or public sector projects.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently.

* A full UK driving licence.

* Willingness to travel and stay away during the working week when required.
