HGV Technician

Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Kettering
Shift: 4 on 4 off Days – 6am to 6pm
Salary: £22.00 per hour + Overtime

As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a mixed fleet of HGVs and trailers.
Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Preparing vehicles for MOT and presenting them for test.
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
Accurately completing job cards, service sheets and associated paperwork using online systems.
Working safely at all times in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.What We're Looking For:

The successful HGV Technician will have:
Previous experience working as an HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic.
Industry-recognised qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Strong knowledge of HGVs and trailers with excellent fault-finding skills.
A Class 1 HGV licence would be advantageous, but is not essential.
A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Benefits working for my client:
