What you’ll be doing

Bring scientific concepts to life through practical experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications.
Plan purposeful and well-structured lessons that stretch and support all learners.
Track and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and raise achievement.
Create a positive and focused classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour.
Contribute to curriculum development and the wider work of the Science department.
Support enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or trips.
What the school is looking for
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Science in a secondary setting.
Strong subject knowledge.
The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
Confident classroom management and clear communication skills.
A reflective practitioner with a commitment to ongoing development.
