TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a well-established contractor to oversee a school refurbishment project. This freelance opportunity is expected to last 4-7 weeks and is ideal for a proactive Site Manager with refurbishment experience who can deliver works safely, efficiently and to programme within a live education environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the refurbishment works, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining high health and safety standards, and ensuring the project is completed to a high standard.
The Role
Oversee the day-to-day running of the school refurbishment project.
Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities.
Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with the programme.
Maintain high standards of quality control and site housekeeping.
Ensure site documentation is completed and kept up to date.
Monitor Health & Safety compliance across site.
Liaise with the client, subcontractors and wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.
The Person
Previous Site Management experience delivering refurbishment projects (school or live environment experience desirable).
Enhanced DBS Certificate
SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid at Work
Asbestos Awareness
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A proactive approach with a strong commitment to Health & Safety and quality
