Senior Project Manager - Microsoft 365 Transformation-SC Security Cleared

M365 Senior Project Manager is required by our government client based in Milton Keynes, Bucks. Commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Peterborough, Luton, North London.

Working in an SC Security Cleared environment. SC or DV (Developed Vetting) is required or you will be eligible for clearance.

£610 a day (umbrella)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile Microsoft 365 (M365) transformation programme. This role will take ownership of an in-flight project, managing the end-to-end rollout of M365 across the organisation and ensuring a smooth transition from a Legacy hosted environment.

This is a critical role focused on delivering modern ways of working, improving collaboration, and ensuring secure data management across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Microsoft 365 rollout programme

Manage the migration of data from Legacy systems into a new M365 tenancy

Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical, operational, and compliance functions

Ensure adherence to security, governance, and data protection policies

Work closely with the Business Change Manager to align delivery with communication, training, and adoption plans

Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring delivery remains on track

Provide clear and consistent reporting to senior stakeholders and programme leadership

Minimise disruption to business operations while maintaining pace of delivery

Key Objectives

Deliver a successful migration to Microsoft 365 on time and with minimal disruption

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the project

Align all technical and business activities into a single, integrated delivery plan

Drive strong stakeholder engagement and user adoption across the organisation

About You

You will be a highly skilled and confident Project Manager with experience delivering complex IT transformation programmes.

Essential skills experience:

Proven track record leading large-scale Microsoft 365 or cloud migration projects

Strong experience in data migration and enterprise IT delivery

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams

Excellent knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks

Strong communication and leadership skills

Desirable:

Experience working within structured project methodologies (eg PRINCE2, Agile)

Background in business change and user adoption programmes
