Supply Chain Co-ordinator

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. This is a key role supporting the effective management of our external supply chain, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services that keep our production operations running efficiently.

About the Role

Working as part of a small, collaborative team responsible for a combined annual subcontract spend of over £21 million, you will play a vital role in managing supplier performance, expediting orders, and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.

You will act as a key link between internal production teams and external subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and monitor performance of key subcontract suppliers

* Expedite materials and services to meet production requirements

* Ensure timely flow of work between internal operations and external vendors

* Maintain accurate records of subcontract activity and supplier performance

* Ensure all returned parts meet required quality and documentation standards

* Identify and implement corrective actions when schedules are at risk

* Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers

* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues

* Attend operational and supplier performance meetings

* Work within budgetary and quality system requirements (ISO 9001 / AS9100)

Essentials

* Experienced in supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering environments

* Highly organised with strong administrative skills

* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

* Proactive, resilient, and able to work under pressure

* Skilled in problem-solving and conflict management

* Comfortable with both office-based and hands-on tasks

* IT literate with strong attention to detail

Working Hours

* Monday–Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00

* Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

* Overtime available when required
