OT Cyber Security Analyst
Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Consultant - £650 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working, 2-3 days a week in Paddington or Capenhurst - 6 months initial contract.
We are seeking an experienced OT Cyber Security Consultant to join a major cyber security enhancement programme within the UK nuclear sector.
Working within the Group Information Security function, you will support the design, implementation and assurance of OT security controls across complex operational environments. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to nationally significant projects, helping protect critical infrastructure while working alongside leading cyber security, engineering and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities -
- Develop and enhance OT security procedures, standards and management system documentation.
- Support the ongoing improvement and embedding of the Cyber Security Management System (CSMS).
- Conduct OT cyber security gap assessments, compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Identify, prioritise and coordinate risk treatment and remediation activities.
- Work with engineering, operations, maintenance and security teams to ensure security controls are integrated throughout project life cycles.
- Support Security by Design activities and assurance reviews for new and existing OT solutions.
- Deliver OT cyber security awareness, training and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Prepare reports, recommendations and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of programme performance and key security metrics.
Required Experience -
- Minimum 3 years' experience in OT Cyber Security, Industrial Cyber Security, ICS/SCADA Security or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of OT systems, networks, protocols and associated security risks.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, compliance reviews and security assurance activities.
- Experience developing OT security procedures, standards and governance processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical security solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Knowledge -
Experience with recognised security frameworks and standards such as:
- ISA/IEC 62443
- NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
- ISO 27001
- NIS Regulations
Qualifications -
Preferred:
- Degree in Cyber Security, Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Relevant certifications may include:
- GICSP
- CISSP
- CISM
- CISA
- CEH
- ISA/IEC 62443 Certifications
- CSSA
