Contracts Manager

Location: Thames Valley/ South West London (1 day per week in the office with the remainder split between home working and site visits)

Salary: £90k - £110k + Package

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a growing main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality projects across the South East?

I'm working exclusively with a well-established contractor that has built its reputation on repeat business, long-standing client relationships and delivering projects to an exceptionally high standard. Operating across both the public and private sectors, they successfully deliver new build, refurbishment and fit out projects ranging from £1m to £30m across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, leisure and community sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the South East.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of several projects at any one time, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, commercial teams and clients to ensure projects run smoothly from pre-construction through to completion.

This is a flexible role offering one day a week in the office near High Wycombe, with the rest of your time split between working from home and visiting sites.

Responsibilities

Managing multiple construction projects simultaneously

Providing leadership and support to Project Managers and Site Managers

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

Monitoring programme, quality and commercial performance

Working closely with pre-construction and commercial teams during project planning

Identifying risks and implementing solutions throughout the project lifecycle

Driving high standards of health & safety, quality and customer satisfaction

About You

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager with a main contractor

Strong residential construction experience is essential

Experience delivering projects across additional sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, refurbishment or fit out would be highly advantageous

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Strong commercial awareness

Able to manage multiple live projects simultaneously

Full UK driving licence
