About the Role

A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Weston Turville is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, meeting the needs of all learners

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils’ confidence, curiosity, and independence

Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support individual development

Support the development of core literacy and numeracy skills through creative and interactive teaching approaches

Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice

Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing

Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and ongoing professional development

Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1

A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development

A passion for supporting young learners during the early stages of their education

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
