Primary Teacher - Year 5 - Long-Term Role - Haringey - ASAP / September Start
A welcoming and well-led Primary School in Haringey, North London is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to take on a Year 5 class in a long-term position.
This Primary Teacher role offers the opportunity to join a supportive KS2 team within a school that prides itself on high standards, strong behaviour, and excellent pupil progress. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, monitoring attainment, and ensuring pupils are well-prepared for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging lessons as a Primary Teacher
Teaching a Year 5 class as a Primary Teacher
Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress as a Primary Teacher
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment as a Primary Teacher
Working collaboratively with the Year 5 team as a Primary Teacher
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues as a Primary Teacher
The Ideal Primary Teacher Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS2 or strong KS2 placement experience
Excellent classroom management skills
High expectations of pupil achievement
A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
