Role: IFA Administrator
Location: LS19, Leeds
Salary: £30-35k/Year
Role Overview
Supporting advisers by handling end‑to‑end administration across core financial products, ensuring smooth client service and accurate record‑keeping.
Key Responsibilities
New business processing - Handle applications for protection, pensions, investments, trusts and IHT products.
AML checks - Collect documentation and run electronic verification for new and existing clients.
Client review preparation - Compile annual review packs and obtain up‑to‑date valuations.
Product research - Request illustrations and product literature.
Transaction administration - Submit trades, fund switches and platform instructions.
Provider liaison - Communicate with providers to progress cases.
Authority handling - Process letters of authority and manage information requests.
Client support - Respond to queries and maintain accurate financial records.
Internal administration - Maintain company records and support general office tasks.
Regulatory awareness - Stay updated on FCA rules and internal procedures.
Adviser support - Act as a key contact for advisers and clients.
Essential Skills
IT proficiency - Strong MS Office and back‑office system skills.
Communication - Clear written and verbal communication.
Organisation - Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Client focus - Consistently prioritises client needs.
Problem‑solving - Resourceful and proactive.
Desirable Skills
Platform knowledge
Pension & investment understanding
Familiarity with major platforms
Qualifications & Experience
GCSE English & Maths
Interest in working toward financial qualifications.
IFA/wealth admin experience - approx. 2 years.
Proven ability to build strong client relationships.
