Experienced and professional Grounds Maintenance Operatives required to work with a leading and highly reputable Local Authority.
My client required and experienced Ground Maintenance Operatives to join their award-winning maintenance division on an on going temporary contract. Are you looking to work with a prestigious and well-known employer? Please see below details.
Location: Kidderminster(Wyre-Forst District Council)
Pay: £16.92 per hour (Paid weekly via umbrella)
Hours: 37 Hours (7am - 3pm Monday to Friday with possibility of weekend cover)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (potentially a rolling contract)
Looking for experience of strimmer's, pedestrian mowers and ideally ride-on mowers
Must hold a full UK driving licence
· Experience of domestic / commercial garden or grounds maintenance/ landscaping
· Basic understanding of Health and Safety at Work
· Technology Proficiency: Competence in using office software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, email and other in-house systems.
· Be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers
· Physical fitness and mobility to withstand long periods of standing or walking
· Capability to build rapport with customers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a positive working environment
· Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and maintain a structured workflow to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders, as well as the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly.
· Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks promptly and efficiently
· Ability to work well as part of a team, collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and contribute positively to a cooperative work environment
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and responsibilities in a dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and a willingness to learn new skills.
