Are you a Quality Inspector or Procurement Coordinator with experience in manufacturing or fabrication, looking to join a growing bespoke engineering business where you can play a key role in driving quality standards while supporting the delivery of high-end, custom-made products?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist metalworks manufacturer renowned for delivering bespoke projects that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques.

In this role, you'll take ownership of quality inspection activities throughout the manufacturing process, carrying out incoming goods inspections, dimensional checks, in-process inspections, and final quality assessments. Working from a unique workshop environment in Hampshire, you'll become an integral part of a close-knit team producing exceptional metalwork for prestigious clients across the UK.

The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or bespoke production environment and have experience in quality inspection, technical drawings, and supplier coordination.

The Role:

Conducting incoming goods, in-process, and final quality inspections
Carrying out dimensional checks and verifying products against drawings and specifications
Raising and investigating non-conformances and quality issues
Managing procurement activities for materials, components, and subcontracted services
Liaising with suppliers to manage delivery schedules, quality requirements, and performance
Supporting the development of quality systems, inspection records, and procedures
Working closely with production, design, and procurement teams to ensure successful project delivery

The Person:

Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, furniture, lighting, or bespoke production environment
Quality inspection and dimensional measurement experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001
