We are seeking enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistants to support a specialist school in Salisbury on an adhoc/ flexible basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people aged 4–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated challenges.
The Role
Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom
Building positive relationships and acting as a positive role model
Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
Working closely with teaching staff to create a safe and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For
At least 6 months consistent experience working with children or young people
A calm, patient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence working with pupils who may display challenging behaviours
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
Must be able to work 08:15 - 15:00 on the days you are available
