Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school and sixth form in Cambridge to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Business and Economics.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and inclusive 11–18 school with a thriving sixth form provision. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and collaborative department, teaching across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
The Role
You will:
Teach Business and Economics across KS4 and KS5
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with departmental schemes of work
Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies
Contribute to curriculum development and the improvement of teaching resources
Act as a form tutor, supporting the academic progress and pastoral wellbeing of students
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all abilities
Engage fully in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

Flourishing sixth form offering a broad range of A Level courses

We are keen to hear from candidates who:
Hold a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching through initial teacher training or as a qualified teacher
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Economics
Are committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Have excellent organisational, communication and classroom management skills
Are reflective practitioners with a drive for continuous improvement
Build strong relationships and inspire students of all abilities
