This growing international company with a large UK presence is built on family values and innovation is looking for a Goods In - Quality Control Technician to join them at the West Wales factory in Felinfach, near to Lampeter. Ceredigion.
Temporary position to start ASAP
Days working Hours 7am to 7pm following a shift pattern including weekends
£13.45 per hour plus holiday pay
A little about the role and what you will be doing as Goods In - Quality Control Technician
The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the reception of liquid goods adhere to specification and comply with food and feeds safety acceptance limits. To complete key hygiene tasks to support the continuous improvement in factory hygiene.
The Goods-In Quality Control Technician is a member of the factory Technical Team at Felinfach reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager who is responsible for the daily quality operational activities and compliance on site. This role is part of a strong technical and quality assurance team.
In support to this function the QC Intake Technician can report to either the Quality Control Manager or Supplier Quality Assurance Manager in the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager. Key escalate to the Technical Manager as and when required
This role also needs to develop good communications across other departments in respect of daily production planning, and especially in respect of the supply of processing materials.
As the first point of contact this role is acting as ambassador for the company, maintaining professional and courteous communication with delivery drivers is essential.

Fork Truck Licence - desirable
HACCP Awareness
IOSH Working Safely certificate desirable
Hands-on approach
Basic Computer literacy
