Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to join one of the region's leading M&E contractors?
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, our client is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their established team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected building services contractor delivering prestigious commercial projects across the East of England.
Our client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality building services installations across a diverse range of sectors. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and long-term client relationships, they continue to secure landmark projects throughout the region.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical packages on projects valued up to £10 million.
Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be involved in a variety of major commercial developments including: Science & Research facilities, Education projects, Universities,
Healthcare developments, Arts & Leisure facilities, Commercial buildings
Key Responsibilities
• Managing electrical projects from inception through to handover.
• Planning and coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors.
• Monitoring project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Managing project budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance.
• Attending client and site meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinating commissioning activities and project close-out.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with mechanical and wider project delivery teams.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the Building Services / M&E sector.
• Track record of delivering commercial projects of significant value.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical building services installations.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications.
