A welcoming and well-established pre-school in Northampton is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and supporting children during their crucial early stages of development.

Working within a supportive and child-centred setting, you will play an important role in helping children learn through play, develop key social skills, and build the confidence they need for future success.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of stimulating activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment for all children
Observe, assess, and record children's progress and achievements
Encourage children's communication, creativity, independence, and emotional wellbeing
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor learning activities
Promote safeguarding and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
Contribute to the overall development and success of the pre-school setting

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare
Has previous experience working within an early years or pre-school environment
Demonstrates a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting young children's development
Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
Can create positive relationships with children and their families
Is reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a thriving setting
