We are seeking Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have assembly experience and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves assembling large in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Assembler / Production Operative

* Assembling large components within a manufacturing environment

* Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly tasks

* Working as part of a team to meet production targets

* Following verbal and written work instructions accurately

* Carrying out assembly work without the need to read technical drawings

* Maintaining quality standards and adhering to health and safety procedures

* Handling physically demanding tasks, including moving and positioning large components

Duties

* Assemble components

* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.

* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse.

* Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.

* Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to supervisors promptly.

* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse environment.

Experience

* Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not essential.

* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is required for effective performance in this role.

* Experience working in a manufacturing setting is beneficial, providing insight into operational workflows.

* A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks is essential for success in this position.

Hours of work:

* Late shift 10am - 6pm Mon - Thurs & Fri 8.30am - 14.00pm
