Risk & Assurance Advisor

Salary: region of £40,000 depending on experience, plus car/allowance, bonus and other Veolia benefits

Location: Mobile with travel to sites around South East & North

What you'll be doing:

Actively support the business on Safety, Quality & Assurance matters by conducting regular site visits (as per our Annual planner), assure the business the right standards are in place, undertake regular audits, including engagement visits and monitor progress against the site improvement plans.

You will support an operational team covering municipal collections, street cleaning, waste transfer stations, fleet workshops and an Integrated Waste Management Facility.

Engage with teams and identify further improvements and provide solutions.

To work closely with the Municipal Risk & Assurance Manager, to support operations and where appropriate support and liaise with external stakeholders, regulators and customers.

To liaise with clients and support and advice on industry best practices.

What we're looking for:

Experience in a Safety Advisor Role, ideally in waste management

NEBOSH General Certificate.Or equivalent

Auditing experience.

The ability to influence key stakeholders on site.

An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
