Working Pattern: Onsite, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
Hours: 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00
Rate: £15.50 per hour PAYE
Overtime: Paid at 150%

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Coordinator role in Grimsby. This is an exciting opportunity to support the logistics and material control function within a growing renewable energy environment.

This role will suit a highly organised and proactive individual with experience in stores, inventory, or materials coordination, ideally within offshore wind or a similar industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of inventory including ordering, receiving, picking, packing, issuing, and dispatching stock
Maintain accurate and auditable records using SAP and paper-based systems
Support logistics requirements to meet tight schedules for crew transfer vessels
Prepare and complete Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation and manifests in line with regulations
Coordinate and manage calibrated tools, safety equipment, and inventory control
Oversee LOLER inspections for lifting equipment
Conduct inventory checks (weekly, monthly, annual) and audit accuracy and compliance
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised stores environment following 5S principles
Provide regular updates and reports to the Line Manager regarding stock levels and issues
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met efficiently
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and schedules in a dynamic environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in stores, materials coordination or inventory control
Experience within offshore wind, energy, engineering, or similar environments (desirable)
Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications
Understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including hazardous materials handling
Ability to work under pressure and manage your own workload effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Flexible approach to working hours where required (including occasional weekends).
