We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Paint Technician vacancy based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to join a reputable, small-sized bodyshop that values quality and craftsmanship. The successful Paint Technician will be responsible for delivering high-standard finishes from start to finish, encompassing preparation, priming, painting, and polishing.
Benefits for the successful Paint Technician:
Basic salary up to £45,000 per annum
OTE approximately £50,000 including bonuses
Monday to Friday working week
Early finish on Fridays
Small, close-knit team environment
Focus on quality work over quantity
Opportunity for career progression within a well-established businessDuties of the Paint Technician:
Manage the full repair process including prep, prime, paint, and polish
Carry out all work efficiently within manufacturer repair times
Paint both half and full bumpers
Ensure high-quality finishes to meet customer expectations
Maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels at all times
Handle full job flow from start to finish, demonstrating attention to detailRequirements of the Paint Technician:
Proven experience as a Paint Technician or Paint Sprayer
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong eye for detail and quality assurance
Good communication skills
Multi-tasking abilities; ATA qualification advantageous but not essential
