Team Manager – Harwood House - £32,760 - £38,220 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time - 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, inclusive of bank holidays, Occasional Evening & Weekends, with occasional covering of shifts. You will be required to participate in an on-call rota as part of this role.
Location – Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
We are recruiting a Team Manager for our Harwood House Service, a 24/7 supported living scheme for adults with long term mental health issues. Clients are supported at Harwood House following extended stays on acute psychiatric and rehabilitation wards or are returning closer to home after periods in out of county placements.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the team provides bespoke packages of support tailored to the needs of the individuals we support. You will ensure KPIs are met and audits are successful, demonstrating the service is operating efficiently and legally. You will provide leadership to the team and encourage them to perform at their highest level achievable.

Oversee daily operations and ensure support plans promote dignity, choice, and independence
Manage complex cases and escalate serious concerns to clinical teams
Facilitate move-ins, manage voids, and coordinate with referrals and housing teams
Lead reflective practice following serious incidents
Supervise and develop staff, manage rotas, recruitment, and training compliance
Conduct audits, spot checks, and ensure health & safety standards
Oversee medication checks and safeguarding processes
Advocate for residents in clinical consultations and support benefit access
Promote meaningful activities and skill development

Essential:
Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
Experience managing or supervising a support team
Knowledge of safeguarding, mental health, and team development
Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills
Desirable:
Level 4 Diploma or vocational qualifications in health and social care
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, motivational interviewing
Familiarity with systems such as Inform
