As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced educators, or individuals with transferable skills who are interested in working within schools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to students.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.
* Provide support and guidance where appropriate.
* Follow school policies and procedures at all times.
* Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confidence managing groups of students.
* A flexible, professional, and proactive approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
