Transport Driver Manager
Tamworth | £45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Driver Manager to join a successful and growing transport operation based in Tamworth.
Reporting into senior management, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a fleet and 70 drivers, ensuring operational efficiency, driver engagement, and full compliance with transport legislation and O Licence requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage and develop a team of professional drivers.
Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and O Licence regulations.
Act as a named CPC holder supporting the transport operation.
Drive performance through effective driver management, coaching, and communication.
Monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational standards.
Promote a strong safety and compliance culture across the fleet.
About You
Previous experience in a Transport Manager, Driver Manager, or similar transport leadership role.
Valid Transport Manager CPC qualification.
Strong knowledge of transport compliance and driver legislation.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
Background from any transport sector considered; general haulage experience advantageous.
