JOINER / BENCH JOINER

Location: Leicester, LE4

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner/Bench Joiner to join a truly unique and bespoke joinery company in Leicester. You'll be producing high quality joinery products with a focus on craftsmanship, accuracy and finish.

The role

Bench joinery / workshop based production using traditional joinery techniques (with occasional site work if required)
Reading and working from drawings, cutting lists and specs
Manufacture and assembly of joinery items (bespoke solid timber products)
Operating manual workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlinesWhat we're looking for

Proven experience as a joiner/bench joiner (workshop experience preferred)
Experience working with Cross cut saws, Rip saws, Band saws, Chop saws, Spindle Moulders, Tenoners, hand and air tools
Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
Due to occasional site work, you will need to drive the company van at times.
Strong attention to detail and pride in finishing quality
Good knowledge of woodworking machinery and safe working practices
Reliable, team-focused, and able to work independently when requiredWhat you'll get
