Occupational Health Technician - Oxford
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time position. 37.5 hours per week.

Our client is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Occupational Health Technicians to join their growing mobile health surveillance team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive environment, benefiting from a comprehensive three-week training and induction programme, along with ongoing mentoring and professional development.

In this role, you will travel throughout the UK, operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) and delivering high-quality occupational health surveillance services directly at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out health surveillance assessments, including audiometry, spirometry (lung function testing), and baseline health measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
Accurately record clinical information and ensure all documentation is completed and communicated to the appropriate occupational health professionals.
Maintain, clean, and check all equipment to ensure it remains safe, operational, and fit for purpose.
Support health promotion initiatives and assist with additional occupational health activities as required.
Collect and record biometric and health surveillance data to support clinical decision-making by occupational health nurses and physicians.
Contribute to the effective delivery of occupational health services by providing accurate and timely information to the wider clinical team.

About You

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A good understanding of GDPR and the importance of handling confidential information appropriately.
The ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
A professional, approachable manner with excellent interpersonal skills.
Confidence using initiative and working autonomously when required.

Driving Requirements

A full manual UK driving licence is essential. Applicants must:
Have held a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.
Be aged 21 years or over.
Be able to provide a DVLA licence share code during the recruitment process.
