Location: Glasgow (Maryhill & Govan)
Duration: 5 Months
Engagement: Ad Hoc Onsite Support (1-3 Days per Week)

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Onsite Support Engineer to provide ad hoc onsite support for a Glasgow-based client across two office locations in Maryhill and Govan. This engagement will run for an initial 5-month period, with support required for a minimum of 1 day per week and up to 3 days per week depending on business requirements.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day IT operations, assist with an office relocation project, and contribute to the setup and stabilisation of a new office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, and user access requests (JML processes)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Microsoft 365, Office 365, Intune, and Azure AD/Entra ID
  • Support an office move involving 100+ users, including device relocations, desk setups, and reconnects
  • Assist with new building IT setup and post-move stabilisation activities
  • Provide support for Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room technology, and AV equipment
  • Support Intune-managed devices, including enrolment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Deliver onsite floor-walking support and user assistance
  • Work closely with the internal IT team to resolve escalated issues and provide hands-on support

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support, Desktop Support, or End User Computing role
  • Strong Microsoft 365/Office 365 support experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID and Active Directory
  • Experience supporting Windows desktop environments and end-user devices
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV technologies
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites

Desirable

  • Previous office relocation or IT migration experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications
