AI Engineer
We are currently supporting a leading international organisation within a highly regulated environment in expanding its AI capability across Italy. They are seeking hands-on AI professionals who thrive in experimentation, prototyping, and building intelligent solutions from the ground up.
This is an exciting opportunity for "AI-native" talent who enjoy coding, testing, and developing real-world applications, working closely with business stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
Requirements
- Fluency in Italian and English (both required)
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Information Engineering
- Proven hands-on experience with AI development, modelling, and experimentation
- Strong programming skills (ideally Python or similar cloud-compatible languages)
- Experience in:
- Prompt engineering
- AI prototyping & rapid experimentation
- Agent development (building or contributing to AI agents)
- Understanding of cloud environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with GxP environments or regulated industries is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement AI-driven solutions and models
- Build and test AI agents and intelligent systems
- Rapidly prototype solutions to validate business use cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Work across AI platforms and tools to experiment and optimise outputs
- Contribute to innovation by exploring new approaches within AI and automation
- Ensure solutions align with compliance standards where applicable (eg, GxP)

- Location: Italy (Rome preferred)
- Working model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite/2 days remote
