We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Bodyshop Manager to oversee their busy Edinburgh operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take a leadership role within a growing business and make a significant impact on service delivery and operational performance.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary up to £65,000 depending on experience, with bonus
Attractive total earning potential of approximately £75,000 with OTE
Monday to Saturday working week, 40 hours per week

Opportunities to develop technical and leadership skillsDuties of a Bodyshop Manager:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Edinburgh Accident Repair Centre, ensuring efficient workflow
Lead, motivate, and develop the bodyshop team including technicians, estimators, and support staff
Oversee all repair activities, ensuring work is completed to the highest quality standards and within manufacturer and industry guidelines
Support invoicing, estimating, and damage assessments, supporting all repair processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, customers, and suppliers
Ensure the workshop operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with health and safety legislation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of team members as a Bodyshop Manager
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and seek opportunities to increase profitability
Ensure repairs meet industry best practices and adhere to company quality standardsRequirements of a Bodyshop Manager:
Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager, VDA, or Senior Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy repair environment
Strong technical knowledge of modern repair methods and vehicle construction
Advanced experience with Audatex or comparable estimating systems
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Full UK driving licence
