Tradewind Recruitment are working with a friendly two-form entry primary school in Wandsworth who are looking to appoint a Year 3 Teacher from September until March 2027.

The successful candidate will take full class responsibility for a Year 3 class, including planning, preparation, assessment, parent consultations and attendance at staff meetings. The school has an established KS2 team, with shared planning across the year group and support from experienced leaders.

This is a well-run school with a positive staff culture, good behaviour across the school and a leadership team that provides strong support to teachers.

The Role

Full-time Year 3 class teacher
Planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
Differentiating work to meet the needs of all learners
Attending staff meetings, training and parent consultations
Working closely with the parallel Year 3 teacher and phase leader

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Has strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
Can demonstrate effective behaviour management
Is organised, reliable and committed to high standards
Works well as part of a team
