Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team and support the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure, high‑availability network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience across routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud‑connected networks, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to ongoing network improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
Manage and optimise network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
Support network security controls, including firewall policies, access control, and threat mitigation.
Troubleshoot network incidents and provide 3rd‑line escalation support.
Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and project delivery.
Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and configuration standards.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure reliable service delivery.Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar).
Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, trunking).
Hands‑on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
Knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) beneficial.
Familiarity with network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible) desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) preferred.What We Offer
