Senior Environmental Advisor - Chemicals Manufacturing - North East Lincolnshire - £55-60k + benefits/bonus
We're supporting a leading chemicals manufacturer in the search for a Senior Environmental Advisor. You'll play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance across a large manufacturing site, working closely with operational teams, regulators and senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and support the site's sustainability objectives.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Maintaining the Environmental Management System (EMS)
* Ensuring compliance with environmental permits and legislation
* Coordinating environmental audits and inspections
* Acting as the main contact for regulators and ISO accreditation audits
* Conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
* Delivering environmental training and promoting best practice
* Supporting environmental improvement projects across the site
About You
You'll ideally have:
* A degree or equivalent in Environmental Science or a related discipline
* Experience within manufacturing, chemical, energy or another regulated industry
* Knowledge of ISO 14001, environmental permitting and UK environmental legislation
* Experience working with the Environment Agency or similar regulators
* Strong communication, auditing and stakeholder management skills
