Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent garage located in Bromsgrove is actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their modern workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a stable position in a well-established environment with work hours that support a healthy work-life balance.

Benefits:

Basic salary of £37,500 - £42,000, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 5:00pm), with no weekend work
28 days holiday including bank holidays
Modern, fully-equipped 10-ramp workshop

Opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and modelsDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
Diagnose complex faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
Complete work efficiently and to a high standard as a Vehicle Technician
Perform vehicle health checks and identify additional repair needs
Assist with MOT preparation where required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Complete job cards and workshop documentation accuratelyRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Confident in clutch and cambelt repairs
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
