Event Installation & Rigging Operative
📍 Location: Pershore
💷 Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour
📄 Contract: Temporary to Permanent
🕒 Shift: Day Shift (Flexibility Required)
Are you practical, hands-on, and enjoy working in different environments? We're looking for an Event Installation & Rigging Operative to join a growing team based in Pershore.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for preparing, transporting, installing, and dismantling premium bar systems and event structures at venues across the UK. The role combines workshop preparation with nationwide event installation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys travelling, physical work, and being part of a team delivering high-quality event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and dismantle portable bar systems and event structures
Travel to venues across the UK to support event installations and breakdowns
Load, unload, and safely transport equipment and materials
Carry out rigging and fitting work on-site
Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure equipment
Perform quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards
Maintain company equipment, tools, and assets
Work safely whilst following all health and safety procedures
Keep workshop and work areas clean, organised, and professional
Support colleagues with event preparation and logistics as required
What We're Looking For
Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points (essential)
Comfortable travelling and occasionally working away from home when required
Previous experience in installation, fitting, assembly, construction, events, shopfitting, rigging, warehouse, or a similar hands-on role
Confident using hand and power tools
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing workloads and event schedules
Desirable
Experience within the events industry
Experience with staging, rigging, exhibitions, or temporary structures
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
